Klash connects Customers with independent Washers who come to you — which means trust matters more here than it does in most apps. This page explains, honestly, what Klash does to help make that trust well-placed, and what stays a shared responsibility between everyone using the platform.
Klash is designed to encourage safe, professional, and transparent interactions between Customers and Washers. We build tools and policies aimed at that goal, but safety on a platform like Klash is never one-sided — it depends on Klash, Customers, and Washers all doing their part. This page is about our part, and what we ask of yours.
Every payment on Klash is processed through Stripe, a payment processor used by companies around the world. Klash does not directly store your full card number or bank details — that information is handled by Stripe.
When you book a service, your payment method is authorized, not charged. Klash generally only captures payment after the service is successfully completed. You're never paying for a wash that didn't happen.
As part of completing a Booking, Washers document the vehicle with Proof Photos. These photos exist to give both Customers and Washers a clear, shared record of the vehicle's condition and help resolve questions or disputes if something comes up after a service. Submitting a falsified or fraudulent photo is a serious violation of our Terms and is not tolerated.
If something goes wrong — a safety concern, damage to a vehicle, suspected fraud, harassment, or anything that just feels off — we want to hear about it. Every report is reviewed individually, based on the specific details of what happened. We can't promise a specific turnaround time for every case, but we take every report seriously.
Everyone on Klash — Customers and Washers alike — is expected to communicate professionally, treat each other with respect, and be honest in how they use the platform. The full expectations are laid out in our Community Guidelines, which are worth a read if you want the details.
Washers on Klash are independent contractors, not Klash employees. They choose when to go online and which Bookings to accept. Klash's role is to provide the marketplace, the booking and payment technology, and support when something needs attention — not to direct how a Washer does their work.
