Klash is built on trust between Customers and Washers. A Customer is trusting someone to show up and care for their vehicle. A Washer is trusting that the Booking is real and that they'll be treated fairly and paid for their work. These Community Guidelines explain the behavior we expect from everyone on Klash, so that trust holds up every time.
These Guidelines are not a replacement for the Terms of Service — they work alongside it, along with the Privacy Policy, Independent Contractor Agreement, KlashPlus Subscription Terms, Account Deletion Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy. Think of the Terms as the rules of the road, and these Guidelines as what good driving actually looks like.
Customers and Washers should treat each other the way they'd want to be treated:
Klash works because people can trust what's on the other end of a Booking. That means:
Proof Photos exist so everyone — Customers, Washers, and Klash — can trust what actually happened during a service. Washers must:
Keeping payments on Klash is what makes the whole system fair and safe for everyone:
Nobody should ever feel unsafe using Klash:
Klash cannot guarantee the conduct of every user, and using the Services doesn't come with a guarantee of safety — but we take reports seriously and want to hear about anything that doesn't feel right.
Customers should make sure the Washer has reasonable access to the vehicle and service location. Washers should take reasonable care while performing a service. Neither party should ever intentionally damage another person's property.
The following are never allowed on Klash:
Violating these Guidelines or the Terms of Service can result in a range of outcomes, depending on the severity and circumstances involved:
Not every situation looks the same, so Klash reviews each case based on its own facts before deciding what action, if any, is appropriate.
If you experience or witness a safety concern, fraud, abuse, harassment, or anything that seems suspicious, please tell us. Reports help keep Klash safe for everyone, and we look into every one we receive.
Klash may update these Community Guidelines from time to time as the Services evolve. If we make a material change, we'll provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means before it takes effect.
