This Refund Policy explains when refunds may and may not be available on Klash. It supplements, and should be read together with, Klash's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Independent Contractor Agreement, KlashPlus Subscription Terms, and Account Deletion Policy. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.
Klash reviews refund requests fairly and individually. Requesting a refund does not guarantee that one will be issued — each request is reviewed based on the circumstances of the Booking and the information available. This Policy describes how that review works and what to expect at each stage of a Booking.
When you create a Booking, Klash authorizes your payment method for the total amount due but does not charge it. Payment is only captured after your Booking is successfully completed, as described in Section 10.4 of the Terms of Service.
If a Booking is canceled before payment is captured, you generally will not be charged for the service itself. This is subject to any cancellation fee already disclosed in Section 12 of the Terms of Service, which may apply depending on when the cancellation occurs.
Once payment has been captured following completion of a Booking, refunds are not automatic. If you believe a refund is warranted — for example, because of a quality issue or a problem with how a Booking was performed — you may request a refund review as described in Section 8 (How to Request a Refund Review) below. Klash reviews these requests case by case; not every request results in a refund.
If your request relates to damage or a dispute about how a service was performed, Klash may review available information relevant to the Booking, including Proof Photos, Customer and Washer account information, communications related to the Booking, and any other relevant information you or the Washer provide.
Whether a refund, and how much, is appropriate depends on the specific circumstances of the Booking and the evidence available. Klash does not guarantee any particular outcome or amount of reimbursement. Damage claims specifically are also governed by Section 14 of the Terms of Service.
If you believe a charge was incorrect, you may contact your card issuer to dispute it directly, in addition to or instead of requesting a refund review through Klash. If a chargeback is filed, Klash may provide relevant records to the card issuer or Stripe as part of that process, including Proof Photos and Booking information, consistent with Section 10.6 of the Terms of Service.
KlashPlus subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Canceling KlashPlus stops future renewals, but cancellation does not create a refund for the unused portion of your current Trial Period or Billing Period, except where required by applicable law. This is consistent with the KlashPlus Subscription Terms.
The Customer Booking and Processing Fee described in Section 10.1 of the Terms of Service is part of the total amount charged for a Booking. If a refund is issued for a Booking under this Policy, whether the Booking and Processing Fee is included as part of that refund is determined as part of the same case-by-case review described in Section 3 (After Payment Capture) above, rather than under a separate rule.
