Effective Date: July 28, 2026
This Cancellation Policy explains how Customers and Washers may cancel Bookings and what happens when they do. It supplements, and should be read together with, Klash's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Independent Contractor Agreement, KlashPlus Subscription Terms, Account Deletion Policy, and Refund Policy. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.
Klash allows both Customers and Washers to cancel a Booking. Because a cancellation affects another real person's time and schedule, Klash encourages everyone to cancel as early as possible when a Booking can no longer be completed.
Customers may cancel a Booking through the app before it is completed. The timing of a cancellation may affect whether a cancellation fee applies, as described in Section 12 of the Terms of Service. Canceling a Booking does not, by itself, create a right to a refund beyond what is described in the Refund Policy.
Washers should only accept Bookings they intend to complete. If you need to cancel an accepted Booking, do so as soon as possible so Klash can route the Booking to another Washer with minimal disruption to the Customer. Repeated cancellations may affect your standing on the platform and may result in suspension or removal, consistent with the Independent Contractor Agreement and the Terms of Service.
Once a service is underway, a cancellation request may require additional review depending on the circumstances. Any related refund or fee question is handled under the Refund Policy.
Customers should ensure the vehicle and service location are reasonably accessible at the scheduled time. Washers should make reasonable efforts to arrive as agreed. If either party is unable to reasonably proceed with a Booking, cancellation or another appropriate action may be taken under the Terms of Service.
Either party may cancel a Booking if continuing would create a safety risk, involve illegal activity, or become impractical because of an emergency or unforeseen circumstance.
Repeated abuse of the cancellation process, fraudulent cancellations, or attempts to manipulate platform fees through cancellation may result in account action under the Terms of Service or the Independent Contractor Agreement.
Cancellation and refund decisions are separate. This Policy addresses how and when a Booking may be canceled. Questions about payment, charges, or refunds related to a canceled or completed Booking are addressed in the Refund Policy.
Klash may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, the Services, or applicable law. If we make a material change, we will provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means before the change takes effect.
