Klash LLC ("Klash," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Klash mobile application and the getklash.com website (together, the "Service"), an on-demand marketplace connecting customers with independent mobile detailing professionals ("washers"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account information. When you create a Klash account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo (optional). Washers additionally provide identity verification documents and banking details required for payouts.
Service information. We collect details about the jobs you book or fulfill, including vehicle information, service type, scheduled time, and job status history.
Payment information. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. Klash does not store your full card number.
Location information. We collect location data to match customers with nearby washers, to enable live job tracking, and to confirm arrival at a service address. Washers share location while actively en route to or performing a job.
Usage information. We collect device identifiers, app version, crash logs, and general usage data to maintain and improve the Service.
With washers and customers. To complete a booking, customers and washers share the information necessary to perform the job — including name, approximate location, vehicle details, and job status.
With service providers. We share information with infrastructure partners that power the Service, including Stripe (payments and payouts) and Google Firebase (authentication, data storage, and cloud functions). These providers are contractually restricted to using your data only to provide services to Klash.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Klash, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
We retain account and job information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time — see our Delete Account page.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), Firebase Security Rules governing data access, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us at support@getklash.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. California residents have rights under the CCPA to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion; we do not sell personal information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
